Unmissable for the Scuderia del Portello the participation in the “Goodwood Festival of Speed”, the exclusive kermesse dedicated to the whole world of the motorsport founded by Lord March (currently Duke of Richmond) which this year turned 25.
The event, become in the aforementioned 25 years the Show with capital letters for cars and motorbikes, both historic and modern, is recognized worldwide to be unique and inimitabile for the number of motorbikes and cars of a very high level, for the presence of several Vips and legends of the motorsport, as well as for the huge number of people attending (around 150,000 daily) and for many other surprises skilfully conceived by the impeccabile organizers.
Since the very first editions (actually from 1995 on), the Scuderia has always taken part in the event, invited by the Lord, with historic Alfa Romeos which boast a big prestige, having made the history of the races.
This year the Scuderia was protagonist under the sign of the Biscione with the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2 Fléron from 1967 (which has already been guest in 7 previous editions), driven by the President Marco Cajani, as well as with a F1 Osella Alfa Romeo from 1986 driven by Angelo Miniggio and Federico Buratti.
At the end of the event, the President Marco Cajani personally gave to the Duke of Richmond the trophy “Alfa Romeo Champions” by Scuderia del Portello, to celebrate the enduring collaboration between Goodwood and the Scuderia. Next appointment: the 2019 edition.
